Our upcoming classes and workshops are listed below.
Quilt-making is a form of self-expression that should not be limited to the choices made by others. Our classes & workshops are designed to empower you to pursue your own quilt ideas while learning the skills required to accomplish your vision.
General Course Requirements include a working sewing machine, rotary cutter and ruler, pins, thread, scissors. Tools are available for purchase in the shop.

Trip Around the Neighbourhood
Black & White . . . or NOT?
Back by popular demand "Trip" is a fun and addictive concept. It will also push your reluctance to address small piecing right out the window!
Access all our SEVENTEEN BOXES full of pre-cut, colour-coded 2.5" squares and play so you can build the size of quilt you want.
Classes are in round table format so no sewing machines. Prerequisites: curiosity, sense of humour and sharing. Room for only 10 lively souls.

Beginner Piecing Class - Round Table Format
Three 2 hour sessions, bring pen & paper, be well rested as this is an intense learning environment. You will benefit from us making EVERY possible sewing/quilting mistake that has ever been 'unsewn'.
You will learn:
Sewing/quilting jargon, what tools to acquire and when (please do not buy ahead), how to cut, block basics and construction, fabric selection, and most fun of all - colour. Homework will be marked! Class is limited to six enthusiastic piecers.
Do not bring your machine to the first class - this will be discussed.
Students will receive a 10% discount on all purchases. You will be empowered to begin your first or twenty-first quilt with confidence.
