Jim & I finished this quilt during a staycation. We loved putting in squares of fabric that expressed places we aspired to go on vacation like visiting Kaffe in Bath, having lunch with Kathy Doughty in Sydney, fishing with Martha Negley in Missouri, well . . . you get the idea.
We backed it with an ever so appropriate world map fabric.
It was so much fun that we've made 2 more since then: one a gift for a friend and one for our son David. I also taught a workshop on this quilt and the results were inspiring.
